The Directorate General Industries is bridge in between the Federal and Provincial Governments with regard to keep update them about the prevailing prices of the essential commodities. Weekly price reports are being collected from the Market and are sent to the Federal Government. The Secretary & Director General Industries have been declared as “Chief Controller of Prices & Supplies” for the province of Balochistan under Profiteering & Hoarding Act. Besides a Consumer Protection Act has been prepared by the Directorate of Industries and approved by the provincial legislators. Powers has been delegated to the District Coordination Officers
